The Countryman B6 Protective Cap is used to shield the microphone capsule from moisture, dust and other elements that can potentially cause damage. In addition to protection, the capsules are available in flat, +4dB and +8dB frequency altering responses that enhance high-frequencies and presence at 15kHz. The caps are provided in colors that match the B6 microphones.
